Oh, wow.

It has been a while since I've posted here...

Oops...

Oh well... I don't think anybody pays attention to me anyways xD

University life has been awesome and awful. Midterms are utterly insane (4 tests in 5 days!) and I am so tired right now.

My last one is tomorrow morning.

Yes, tomorrow.

Saturday.

10AM-Noon.

Totally not cool.

And I'm not exactly ready because I've been spending all my time preparing for my other midterms, because they are essential for my degree.

Uhh... maybe luck will be with me and I can wing it?

Biology is just my science option anyways.

I should have taken astronomy or geology or something.

I did spend a good 9 hours or so studying today.

I hope that's enough...

...

Not exacly 9 because I zoned out every so often, and I needed to take (eating) breaks. xD

I don't think I absobed a whole lot though.

Hehe..

There's always tomorrow morning...

And maybe I'll do some studying via diffusion later on tonight. ;)

If you're reading this, wish me luck please!

I now fully understand why those in post-secondary eduation refer to themselves as "starving students."

LOVE VERONICA MARS.

I watched the entire series in less than a week. Granted, it's only 3 seasons long, but it took me about 6 weeks to get through the first 5 seasons (and the first 8 eps of season 6) of Gilmore Girls. And, I really liked that show.

They totally have to make a movie!!!!!!

And LoVe must end up together. MUST!

P.S:
Countdown to Uni: 1 day!!!
(Technically, 32 hours and 35 minutes... but who's counting? ;) )

Isn't it funny?

When you're a little kid, all you want to do is grow up and be bigger.

When you're a lot older, you wish you were small again.

I think right now, I'm a bit of both. Stuck between the two.

I want to grow up and I want to be a little kid again.

To me, it's so strange to know that my high school is up and running... but I'm not there anymore. I'm really not there anymore.

Tomorrow is the first day of Fall Orientation at my University. I'm so excited, but I'm really nervous too. (I'll be wearing purple - my faculties main color!)

I only have about a week before school (and the rest of my adult life) begins.

So, if I were still in high school (or any kind of grade school) I'd be starting classes tomorrow.

However, I'm a University student now. I'm technically free until the 8th of September.

Though, Orientation week starts on the 31st and I'm planning on attending ^^

A very, very lucky girl.

I honestly thought my summer was going to be mindless and totally boring, but it's turning out to be much better.

I've secured a volunteer job in my doctor's clinic. I've only been for two days so far, but I really enjoyed myself. So far, I've been in charge of taking the height and weight and testing the hearing and vision of small children. They're all very cute. On my second day, I got to do some filing, learned what goes where, etc. It's really nice. The receptionist/my doctor's daughter said she'd write me a referral when she feels I am ready. And the experience will look really good on my resume, and apparently, it will make finding a job in a hospital a bit easier for me. Yays ^^

In addition to that, today, I landed a job in the Farmer's Market. They only need me on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, which is perfect because the clinic is open Monday-Thursday. They're going to give me $12/hour starting, which is much better than I was expecting. I'm not exactly sure what I'll be doing, but I hope it's along the lines of packaging and selling. I can do that :D I begin training on Sunday.

I do want some down time in August to prepare for my first year of post secondary, but, I'm glad I won't be sitting around at home all day :)

So, grad was a month ago. I put on the robe and I've walked the stage. I wore a fancy dress, got my hair done and went to the banquet. I returned all my textbooks, got my yearbook signed by my friends, and wrote my last exam yesterday.

It just feels so surreal.

I'm honestly completely finished with high school, but it hasn't sunk in at all.

I think that's why there haven't been any tears yet. >_<

In fact, I don't think it will really hit me until those leaving for University are gone and I'm starting in September.

I'm really excited at the chance to just relax and unwind, but the thought of not returning to my high school in the fall makes me really sad.

Snow in June?

Only where I live.

Catching a cold in June?

Luckily, not only me :D

And that is how I begin my "hardcore" studying for all my finals.

Grad was amazing. I can't believe it's over though!
Now I have nothing to look forward to for the rest of the year.
Just studying, studying, studying. Yuck.

Between 5:45AM on Saturday and now (8:04 on Sunday) I've gotten about 4 hours of sleep. My head is pounding, and I'm totally ready to crash.

Except I'm uploading/tagging/looking at grad photos on facebook :D

I didn't get one of everyone in the Graduation gowns and stoles because of the timing of everything. That isn't our entire group in that picture, (we're missing 3 guys and 2 more girls) but I love it a lot. :)

I don't think I've ever been this cheerful at this time of morning. Heck, I don't usually (willingly) get up at this time, let alone on a Saturday morning.

The sun has only barely peaked over the horizon.

But, it doesn't matter because it's.....

GRADUATION DAY!!!!!!

Graduation is in 2 days!

School has really worn me out. I honestly can't stay completely alert for more than 1 class a day! It's bad, but luckily, this week has been pretty easy. :D

7 days.

Tweleve years of school, and I get to walk the stage in a week.

It's actually so hard to believe.

I mean, you spend forever and ever waiting for something... And it feels like it's never going to come...

But it's almost here, and it's crazy how fast everything went by.

7 more days.

Best birthday ever :)

Amazing friends, great presents, drinks!

I have a surprisingly high tolerance for alcohol.

I had two drinks (A Bottle Cap and A Paralyzer) and three shots (An After Eight, some chocolatey one and tequila, which is really gross....) and I didn't even go a little bit red :D

I've been crazy tired these last few days. I honestly don't know why.

I mean, it's not like I'm taking on more activities/classes or anything like that.

It's the opposite.

Things are winding down, and I just can't stay awake.

Even if I grab some coffee in the morning, I'm sleepy by the start of my afternoon classes.

Though, I haven't been sleeping in these past few weekends.

And there are many tests/much homework.

Oh well.

It's going to be over soon.

Grad is in 17 days (counting weekends), and I'll officially be an adult in just under an hour and a half.

Yay :)

So, so incredibly tired.

So, so, in love with Grey's Anatomy.

Random, I know... but it's been a long, crazy week and things won't be slowing down for a while :(

Lots of stuff going on this weekend.

And...

And!

I'll be legal in 6 days :D

Three, six, nine
The goose drank wine
The monkey chewed tobacco on the streetcar line
The line broke, the monkey got choked
And they all went to heaven in a little row boat!

It's so catchy. I can't get it out of my head!
